Condobolin

‘Condo’

Set on the banks of the Lachlan River, Condobolin is the largest centre in the Heart of NSW and is home to approx. 3,500 people.
Commonly known as Condo, it’s a wonderful spot for a riverside escape, natural beauty, fishing and wildlife. A little country town rich with cultural heritage, with all the necessary retail and visitor services.

This quirky town features interesting historical buildings dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, a one of a kind outdoor art trail Utes in the Paddock with utes used as canvases.  Gum Bend Lake is just 3km west of town which is a man made shallow lake ideal for water sports and bird watching with amenities provided.
Another impressive feature of Condo is the Wiradjuri Study Centre, built to foster Aboriginal culture, education, employment and wellbeing, and includes an excellent range of facilities for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people built out of compressed earth bricks in a circular formation to replicate sitting around a campfire.
